Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 September 2026
In short
- You sign in with Google Play Games so your progress follows you between devices.
- Your progress is stored in Google's Firebase database, located in the European Union.
- Atoni shows no ads and contains no analytics or tracking SDK.
- We never sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
1. What we collect
Account information
When you sign in with Google Play Games, Google gives the game:
- a unique account identifier, which we use as your player ID
- your player name (display name)
- a link to your profile picture
- your email address and name, if the sign-in method you used provides them
We never see, receive or store your Google password.
Game data
Saved under your player ID:
- in-game currency: diamonds and dark matter
- what you own: characters, balls, skills, arenas, and the loadout chosen for each character
- your story progress
- per-character statistics: matches played, wins, losses, knockouts, crossings, rounds won and experience
- your match history
- the date your account was created, and total time spent in matches
- whether you finished the tutorial, which in-game notices you have seen, and which rewards you have claimed
Settings on your device
A few preferences stay on your phone only and are never uploaded.
2. What we do not collect
Atoni does not ask for or collect your location, contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera, SMS or call history, and it does not use an advertising identifier. There is no advertising SDK and no third-party analytics SDK in the game.
3. Why we use it
- to recognise your account when you sign in
- to save your progress and give it back to you on any device you sign in from
- to show your player name and picture inside the game
- to keep saves from being lost or overwritten
If you are in the EU or the UK: our legal basis is performance of a contract — we cannot provide the game or keep your progress without this data.
4. Where it is stored
Your data is held in Firebase Authentication and Firebase Realtime Database, both run by Google. The database is located in the European Union (europe-west1, Belgium). Google processes this data on our behalf as our service provider.
5. Who we share it with
Nobody, apart from Google as the infrastructure and sign-in provider described above (Firebase and Google Play Games Services). We do not sell your data and we do not give it to advertisers, data brokers or any other third party.
Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
6. How it is protected
Each player's record can only be read and written by that player's own signed-in account. This is enforced by security rules running on Google's servers, not only by the app, so a modified copy of the game cannot reach anyone else's data. All traffic between the game and Google's servers is encrypted.
7. How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change materially affects you, we will also announce it in the game.
